In den 1980ern fotografierte der Künstler New York auf seine ihm eigene klassische Art. Insbesondere der Central Park inspirierte ihn zu diesem einmaligen Portrait der Fotokunst. Die Landschaftsgestaltung sowie die umrahmende Gebäudearchitektur zeichnete er in Licht- und Schattenklänge zu einem einmaligen romantischen Zeitgemälde. Ralf Uicker photographed New York of the nineteen-eighties in his particular classic style.Especially the Central Park gave him the inspiration of this singular portrait of photography, where he brought landscape and architecture in tonalities of light and shade into a singular romantic portraiture.
